At Sherbrooke Community School, sustainability isn’t just something we teach — it’s something we live every day.

From our beautiful bushland setting to our veggie gardens and school compost, we aim to tread lightly and care deeply for the world around us. One of the most-loved parts of our sustainability journey? Our two school sheep — gentle, woolly reminders of our connection to animals, land, and responsibility.

Our sheep are more than just mascots — they’re part of daily life at Sherbrooke. Students help care for them, learning about animal welfare, sustainable land management, and the rhythms of nature. Through hands-on experiences like this, our students grow a real sense of responsibility and empathy — for animals, for the planet, and for each other.

We also focus on:
