Welcome to Sherbrooke Community School — a small, inclusive P–12 school nestled in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges, right in the heart of Sassafras.

At Sherbrooke, we believe in nurturing growth and inspiring independent learners. Our school motto, “To nurture growth to inspire independent learners to achieve their potential,” reflects our commitment to supporting every student academically, socially, and emotionally.

We’re proud of our strong community values: Respect, Responsibility and Relationships. These guide everything we do, creating a caring and connected environment where students feel safe, supported and empowered to thrive.

We offer a range of learning pathways including the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE), VCE Vocational Major (VM) and HeadStart, helping every student find a path that suits their strengths, interests and future goals.
