Camps & Excursions

CSEF – Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund

At Sherbrooke Community School, we want every student to have access to the full range of learning experiences, including camps, excursions, and sporting events. The Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) helps eligible families cover the cost of these important activities.

What is CSEF?

The CSEF is a government initiative that provides financial assistance to help families with the cost of school-related activities outside the classroom. It’s designed to ensure no student misses out on valuable learning and social opportunities due to financial constraints.

How much is the funding?

  • $150 per year for eligible primary school students

  • $250 per year for eligible secondary school students

The funds are paid directly to the school and used towards the cost of camps, excursions, and sporting events.

Who is eligible?

To be eligible for the CSEF, you must:

  • Hold a valid Centrelink Health Care Card, Pensioner Concession Card, or be a temporary foster parent

  • Be eligible on the first day of Term 1 or Term 2

How to apply:

You can pick up a CSEF application form from the school office or download one via this link. Submit your completed form along with a copy of your concession card to the school.

📅 Application deadlines apply each year, so we encourage families to apply early in Term 1 or Term 2.

If you have any questions or need help with the application process, please contact the school office on (03) 9755 2007 — we’re here to help!
