Thank you – Jeans for Genes Day

As a School Community we have successfully raised $263.55 for the Children’s Medical Research Institute.  This money will be going to help find treatments and cures, so kids can go back to being kids.

This is an incredible amount, and we would like to thank everyone who donated.  We would especially like to thank Samone Boucher for taking the time to work with Maddi, Miki, Jai-Lee and Blake in preparing the sweet treats that were sold today.

Life’s pretty complicated right now, but there’s one simple thing we can all
do… wear jeans, raise money, find cures.
1 in 12 children are born with a birth defect or genetic disease like cancer
or cystic fibrosis. That’s one in every classroom.
That’s why we are supporting Jeans for Genes this year, and we invite our
school community to get involved. Join us on Thursday, 7 th of August for
a day of wearing jeans and make a donation to the front office so we can
fundraise for this amazing cause.
All money raised goes directly to Children’s Medical Research Institute,
where Australian scientists are working to find treatments and cures.
Together, we can make a difference.
